Former abbot of Wat Saphan Sung in Khlong Phra Udom Subdistrict, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, was a senior monk who played a significant role in the preservation and promotion of Buddhism in the lower Chao Phraya River basin. His contributions encompassed ecclesiastical administration, the dissemination of Buddhist teachings, and the development of the temple as a spiritual center for the local community.
He was deeply revered by Buddhists for his simple and austere conduct, as well as his strict adherence to the monastic discipline. He was also renowned for his expertise in Buddhist sacred arts and the consecration of amulets, which were widely regarded as powerful and highly esteemed among disciples and devotees for many years. Amulets created during his tenure are therefore considered an important legacy of Buddhist art and belief associated with Wat Saphan Sung, retaining enduring spiritual value to this day.
